Yoga Therapy…
Uses the tools of yoga (poses, breathing, meditation, and others) to address certain conditions in the body. It looks at the individual as a whole – the body, the breath, the mind, the emotions – to help the client in a non-invasive way get out of pain, reduce symptoms, manage a condition, or restore balance.
“Yoga Therapy consists of the application of yogic principles, methods, and techniques to specific human ailments. In its ideal application, Yoga Therapy is preventative in nature, as is Yoga itself – but it is also restorative in many instances, palliative in others, and curative in many others.”
